My name's Tom Gullo and I live in Arlington, Virginia. This site is used as a launchpad to other sites I have been working on. I've recently been working with content management systems. This technology allows users to: - Add content to a website by using a simple editor
- Add menu items to the left, top and right of a page and link the menu items to content
- Change the whole look and feel of a site without affecting the content
- Make the site multilingual, allowing a user to click a link and change the language of the entire site
- Provide print functionality that only prints the content in the middle of the page
- Put content into categories
- Display 'latest news' in blog like layout
- Make search engine friendly (SEF) urls
- Add various extensions for additional functionality
 I'm also experimenting with Ruby technology and should have links to those sites soon..... |
